Shortly after annoucing that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would contest the 2020 Delhi Assembly election under the leadership of Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri retracted his statement by saying that the BJP is yet to decide its chief ministerial candidate for Delhi poll. Puri's announcement, however, allowed ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to take a dig at the BJP claiming that the saffron party was finding it tough to field an opponent against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
