On Akshay Tritiya, markets across country witness mixed response

On Akshaya Tritiya which fell on April 18 this year, markets witnessed a mixed response s with sales of gold and ornaments going up in some states and noticeably going down in others. In some states, sellers blamed the cash crunch which has become something of a national crisis.
