In blow to Congress, legendary JB’s son-in-law joins BJD

Though the media magnate had moved out of Congress in 2013 to lead a little-known regional outfit called Aama Odisha, this was perceived to be nothing more than a stop-gap arrangement till his family — considered Congress’s first family in the state — returned to its former glory in the party’s scheme of things. Soumya had adopted a strong anti-BJD line all these years.
